I designed Vicky a corner table that I cut out on our CNC PlasmaCAM table at work.

I picked up a crashed RC Helicopter and got the bird flying again. It required a complete tear down and build up.

The YETI is a concept proof project we are designing at work. The intent is to showcase the mechanical abilities of the CNC machines I do the marketing for.

The mother of all Potato Cannons. This one sports metered propane injection!

UPDATE: My pal from work, Rex has an electric, auto arming and priming rig ready to install.

This seemed easy, but it wasn't. Building a dirtbike from the crate is harder that one might think.

Update: upgrades and mods!

This baby is my first ground-up buld. All the best hop-ups make this the ultimate Traxxas REVO. Bigger engine, stiffer shocks and titanium goodies made for one burly rig.

My first try at a custom remote control gas (nitro) powered car. It started out as a stock Revo 2.5R.

Filming at the abandoned Skaguay Power Plant

So remote in fact, we had to get there by helicopter. Here is the heli on it's return landing to pick us up after five hours of filming. There is no other way into this canyon or to the site of the plant other than by air.

More info about the abandoned power plant can be found here.

Saddle Sore 1000 Ride (1000 miles in 24 hrs.)

The Iron Butt Association certifies distance/endurance motorcycle rides. I documented my ride to Mississippi for my cousin Jessica's High School Graduation.

My office

Here is where I work from day to day. This image was merged from 4 separate shots. It was my first try at a photo-merge.

Losing a friend...

Vicky and I are sad to say that Otis is no longer with our little family. His cancer had taken the use of one of his legs and continued to grow very rapidly. Otis has been a member of the family for eleven years now and has spoiled us with endless affection.

We concentrated on making certain he had joy in every day he had left with us. I love my Bubba dog.

Nice Rack!

This fella was sitting outside our manufacturing facility at work this morning. If he knew that everyone inside is a hunter, he prolly would have chosen a different resting place. Fortunately for him, you can't hunt in city limits. I bet he knows that.

I was told that he looked up at the camera and was comfortable enough to lay back down. Smug bastard.

The Bushman camping knife

I've had this on my list of tools to get for a long time. I guess it's just taking that old machette idea and expanding on the usability for camping. The particularly helpful thing is the flat 'hammer' area on the end of the saw side. I imagine that it's great for tent spikes. Holeb Outdoors makes this and other useful camping tools for very reasonable prices.
